Apple recently launched three new variants of its current generation iPhones – the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR. Though iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max hit the Indian market last month, users had to wait a little bit more for iPhone XR.
But, the wait is finally over for the iPhone XR, as the tech giant announced the preorders of iPhone XR in India available. Indian telecom operator, Airtel is now taking the preorders for iPhone XR on its online store.
Customers who are willing to pre-order the iPhone XR only need to pay a down payment of Rs 14,999. In addition to that, the company is also giving the options of EMI that comes in a package of post-paid plan which includes data, unlimited calling and bundled premium content. The pre-ordered iPhone XRs is expected to be delivered to customers on October 26, 2018.
Moreover, customers ordering iPhone XR from Airtel will get additional benefits: free Netflix subscription for three months, free annual subscription of Amazon Prime, 100GB of free data, and free handset damage protection.
The Apple iPhone XR has 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage variants currently priced at Rs 75,040, Rs 80,040 and Rs 90,040 respectively on the Airtel store. The new iPhone sports an all-screen glass and aluminum design with a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina display featuring extensive color support and True Tone.
iPhone XR is powered by A12 Bionic chipset and has IP67 rating which protects the smartphone from any kind of damage by coffee, tea, juice etc. The handset has dual-SIM support to iPhone through the use of digital eSIM.
iPhone XR offers a 12MP rear camera sensor with f/1.8 aperture and customers can choose their favorite color variant from the six available color options.
