Huawei revealed new foldable phone this week and announced the release plan in March 2020. Huawei’s Mate Xs is a new phone announcement which is planned to be released in Mobile World Congress 2020. The 2020 Mobile World Congress 2020 will take place from 24-27 February 2020 at Barcelona. Huawei is expected to launch Huawei’s Mate Xs foldable phone in this conference. The Huawei’s Mate Xs foldable phone is expected to hit market in March 2020.
During August this year there was rumour that Huawei Mate X would come with a Kirin 990 processor. It seems company is pushing release date to 2020 to complete the implementation of hardware for this phone.
This week Mate X was launched in China at a price of 16999 Yuan or 2,400 USD & at the launch event. During this launch event Huawei’s Mate Xs foldable phone was also announced with planned release date in March 2020. The new phone Huawei’s Mate Xs foldable smartphone is going to be an upgrade to Mate Xs with powerful Kirin 990 5G SOC.
The Huawei’s Kirin 990 5G SOC is feature rich chip with breakthrough technology and advanced intelligence, inherited from Kirin and Balong. This chip is based on 7nm+ EUV technology where over 10 billion transistors4 are installed in a tiny chipset. The Kirin 990 is compatible with 5G technology and provides superior performance.
The Huawei’s Mate Xs foldable phone is expected to be a high end phone at higher price.
Company might release the revised version of Huawei Mate X, the Huawei Mate Xs with Kirin 990 SoC and 5G network connectivity. Company is looking towards capturing high end device with 5G support.
The Huawei’s Mate Xs foldable phone is expected to come with a better screen and hinge and 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.x and NFC support.
